2. Visit a sanctuary

For an educational and enriching experience, you can visit the Sibu Wildlife Sanctuary. This center cares for injured wild animals, including howler monkeys. Guided tours are by appointment and are available twice a week.

3. Ziplines

For thrill-seekers, the Miss Sky Canopy Tour is a must. It features one of the longest zip lines in the world, offering spectacular views of the rainforest and the Pacific Ocean. It’s a breathtaking experience you won’t forget.

4. Turtle "Arribada"

If you’re in Nosara between July and December, a visit to Ostional to witness the turtle nesting is a must. This natural phenomenon, called the “arribada,” attracts thousands of olive ridley turtles to Ostional’s dark beaches, creating an impressive spectacle. Visits should be done with a licensed guide to avoid disturbing the turtles.
